The RECCE rifle concept was developed by Navy SEALs to bridge the tactical gap between large caliber sniper rifles and standard issue M-16/M4 carbines. In that spirit, we’ve created the AR-15 Longshot RECCE rifle.
Featuring specialized, high quality component upgrades, the Longshot RECCE maximizes effective range and accuracy while keeping things compact and maneuverable. From varmint hunting to personal defense, the Longshot is able to seamlessly transition between long and short range situational engagements, making it a tried and true multi-purpose platform.
- HIPERFIRE X2S Hipertouch 2-Stage Trigger: Get ready for glass-smooth, hyper-consistent trigger that will satisfy even the most scrupulous competition shooter, but is also battlefield tough. The X2S breaks crisply at 4 lbs (2.5 lb first stage, 1.5 lb second stage) and has a smooth and positive reset.
- Ballistic Advantage 16″ Premium Series SPR Barrel: From BA’s high end Premium Series line, this barrel is perfectly suited for SPR/RECCE type rifles. Constructed from 416R stainless steel and fluted to cut weight without sacrificing rigidity. Premium Series barrels are HP and MPI Tested and feature a nickel boron coated extended M4 feed ramp extension for reliable feeding.
- Midwest Industries Two Chamber Muzzle Brake: Reduced recoil and muzzle rise so you can get back on target quickly.
- Magpul ACS-L Stock: The ACS-L offers increased surface area for enhanced cheek weld and features a storage compartment for optic batteries and spare parts. The friction lock system helps to clamp the stock firmly to the buffer tube, minimizing annoying wobble.
