FFL Transfers

While we hope you'll give us the chance to earn your business and buy through us, we understand there are times when a too good of a deal to pass up comes along, or you want something we just can't get.

Our transfer fee is $30 per firearm.

Transferring a firearm can seem complicated but we try to make the process as easy as possible. And unlike some other local shops, we don't gouge you with crazy fees just for finding what you want elsewhere.

After you make a purchase from another dealer, initiating the transfer generally goes one of two ways:

1. The dealer will ask you to provide our contact email address, and then reach out directly to us to request a copy of our FFL. If that's the case, you can give them the email address: ffltransfers@dctactical.us.

2. The dealer will provide you with their email address and ask you to reach out to us to have us send a copy of our FFL to them. If that's the case, you can reach out to us at ffltransfers@dctactical.us and provide us with the following information:

• Purchaser's (generally you) First & Last Name.
• The email and telephone number to reach you at.
• A description of the purchasers firearm being transferred to us, as well as any purchase or order number.
• Name of FFL Dealer who will be sending the firearm to us.
• Email address that the dealer gave you to pass along to us (so we can send them a copy of our license).

We'll take it from there. Please understand that we have no control over the cost or shipping of the firearm. That is something that should be worked out ahead of time with the dealer sending you the firearm.

Once your firearm arrives, we will contact you to let you know when its ready for pickup. Please understand that even if your tracking information shows it has arrived here, there are paperwork and procedures that make take a day or two before it will be ready for you to pick it up. again, WE WILL CONTACT YOU.
